The Kitchenware Revolution
II
Iceland got hit badly by the financial crisis; Three of the biggest banks collapsed, unemployment rate jumped from 1% to 9%, the booming building industry collapsed and shops closed down.
Relative to the size of its economy, Iceland´s banking collapse is the largest suffered by any country in economic history.
This series shows the mood of the Icelandic nation as people took to the streets with their pots and pans and demanded a re-election.
